Stair Cleaning

We have revised the stair cleaning programme and updated the specification.  Please note that this will be amended to accommodate Bank Holidays.

Weekly Tasks

• Lift all door mats
• Brush stairs and landings and front entrance
• Mop stairs and landings and front entrance with clean hot water and detergent
• Wipe window sills and ledges
• Remove cobwebs where possible
• Wipe hand rail
• Brush front and back door entrance mats, where present
• Wipe door ironmongery and front door
• Clear and tidy bin areas where required and access allows
• Note any repairs/hazards and report to relevant staff for action

Annual Tasks

• Clean internal and external stair windows
• Wipe down all railings
