Clovenstone Close: Be EdIndex Ready!

Are you looking to move to a new flat next year? We’ve got some very exciting news! We are taking ownership of some more flats at Clovenstone Close, the new development site. These are additional to the mix of 24 flats we will be advertising later in 2025. We wanted to make sure that all our tenants know about both these opportunities and are ready to make the most of them as some will be advertised with priority given to Prospect tenants. The flats will be advertised on EdIndex and you will need a live EdIndex number before you can bid.

 Phase 1
The first phase will all be 2-bedroomed flats with a move-in date in February 2025. Adverts for these flats will go on EdIndex in the 5th-12th January edition. So make sure you check regularly and get your bids in that week. You will need to be ready to move in February if you want to bid for one of these flats.

 Phase 2
We will have a mix of one, two and three bedroomed flats to advertise in August 2025. Adverts for these flats will go on EdIndex over the summer months.

 If you need to register with EdIndex, visit the EdIndex website- https://edindexhousing.co.uk/register. Or you can visit our office for a form, we can pop completed forms in the post. If you need help filling in the form Prospect staff can help you with this, please call us to make an appointment. If you’ve had an EdIndex number in the past and want to bid in January, it is very important that you check now whether your number is still live. If you are a Prospect tenant, you can contact Elspeth on 0131 458 5480. She can help you check your number and reapply if necessary.  

 If you are a Prospect tenant and you are thinking about downsizing, the Clovenstone Close flats could offer you a more manageable and economical home with stunning views. You need to have a clear rent account and pass a tenancy inspection. However our downsizing scheme also offers a grant of £500 to help with the cost of a move and could also be used to reduce other barriers to moving like rent arrears.
